Silverton was founded in 1996 as an aggregates merchant at Devereux Farm, Kirby-le-Soken, then, an operational dairy farm in rural Essex. From extremely humble beginnings, this small family business thrived and is now a leading supplier to the construction and building sectors in the East of England.

In 2014, Silverton Builders Merchants was established in response to substantial customer demand. A high calibre sales team, bringing together a wealth of knowledge and experience, joined the company. Their mission: to ensure that customers, regardless of project size, receive top-quality products at the best prices for their construction endeavours.

Still independently owned, with the original founders at the helm, Silverton now have six branches across the region, recycling plants in Colchester & Braintree and a transport logistics centre in Telford Road, Clacton.
